Snare x Kazuri Bead Charms
$15.00 USD
This meaningful charm is handmade using snare beads—crafted from metal wire once used by poachers to trap wildlife—combined with a vibrant Kazuri ceramic bead. Poaching is illegal in Kenya, and unarmed rangers from Wildlife Workspatrol protected land in the Tsavo ecosystem, removing snares from the landscape.
The recovered snares are brought to headquarters and transformed by Hadithi artisans into charming keychains and metal charms. Each piece helps disarm poachers, supports wildlife conservation, and provides a sustainable livelihood for artisans—turning a tool of harm into a symbol of hope.
