The Stories Behind the Work
Each piece comes from a place, a set of hands, and a way of working shaped over time.
Artisans
The Women Who Make the Work
They weave, bead, and prepare materials in their homes and within their groups — often alongside the rest of daily life. Their work is skilled, practised, and essential to how Hadithi exists today.
Impact
What the Work Supports
The impact of this work is practical and visible. Income from craft supports school fees, food, and healthcare. It brings consistency in places where income can be uncertain, and it reduces pressure on the surrounding land and wildlife.
Materials
Materials from Here
The materials used in Hadithi’s work are locally available and well understood.
Sisal is harvested, stripped, and twisted into fibre. Beads are selected and worked by hand. Each material carries its own process, knowledge, and rhythm.
When you hold one of these pieces, you hold the work of someone’s hands — time, skill, and attention brought together.Thank you for being part of it.
